About the Transport Service
Do you need assistance with getting from A to B? We can help you by using our minibus (COMING SOON). Social Minds can help you with accessible transport options to keep you doing what you enjoy, assisting you in getting out and about on busy days and alleviating travel pressure for children, teens or adults.
NDIS can fund Transport depending on if the plan includes the need for assisted transport. Social Minds is not yet a registered provider, so we only take plan-managed and self-managed participants at this stage.
NSW also provides school transport to eligible students with a disability as a service to NDIS. It is available for students who might have a disability and have problems going from their houses to school. It’s best to speak to the school more about this to see if this is an option.
To alleviate a lot of the travel that many of our parents and carers have to do on a weekly basis as well as the stress of getting around to various commitments, Social Minds will be offering a Transport Service to the local community. Depending on the service required costs for transport can vary with more information provided to those interested.
